What is my order status?

You can view your order status by looking up your order.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and check cards or ATM cards, as long as they are connected with one of the major credit card companies listed above.  You can safely enter your entire credit card number via our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information.

How do I enter a shipping address?

A shipping information page will be presented where you can enter a separate shipping address and the shipping method can be chosen.

Should I put spaces or dashes in the credit card number?

Your card number should be entered in as a continuous string of numbers.

What address should I enter in the billing information screen?

For credit card verification, you must enter the address exactly as it appears on your credit card statement. You do not need to enter a middle name or initial.

Why are you not accepting my credit card?

There are many reasons for a failed credit card transaction. Your card may have expired or reached its limit or a credit card computer, either on our end or your bank's end, may have encountered a machine error.

When will my credit card be charged?

We will not bill you until your product(s), including backordered or preordered items, are actually shipped. If your items are shipped separately you will be billed each time an item is shipped.

How will the charge show up on my credit card?

The charge will appear on your credit card as: "DRI*Western Digital Online Store".

Can I order without a credit card?

No. The only form of payment accepted is with a credit card.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

EU Countries

The price indicated includes anticipated VAT that we will collect from you based on information you make available to us. The total price may change during the course of the shopping session depending on a number of factors. However, you will have the opportunity to review the final price we will charge before you submit your order.

Business Customers

If you are based in the EU and are purchasing for a company registered for VAT, you may not have to pay VAT on your purchase. Please enter your VAT exemption number in the box below before clicking the 'continue' button. To be prompted for a VAT number, please enter a Company Name when creating your user account on the Billing page.

Any sales tax charged will be indicated once your billing and/or shipping address have been entered during checkout.

We will gladly credit sales tax for government institutions. Just fax us a copy of your tax-exemption form with an address matching your order's billing or shipping address at: 952-253-8760.Please include a copy of your receipt or your order number.

How will you know where and how to send my physical product?

If you order a physical product, a Shipping Information page will appear during checkout so you can enter a shipping address and choose a shipping method.

Shipping Information

When will my backorder ship?

Although we try to maintain inventory of all products in the warehouse, occasionally an item will be backordered. Normally, the product will become available in a week. You will receive e-mail notification as soon as the product ships. As a reminder, your credit card will not be charged until your order has been shipped.

Can I change my shipping address?

Unfortunately, you can not change your shipping address after your order has been submitted. The order is immediately sent to the fulfillment agency and can no longer be changed by our system. If your package is not successfully delivered, it will be returned to the warehouse and a credit will be made to your account.

Shipping notification

Shipment confirmation emails with tracking numbers are sent the business day after your order ships.

Can I change my shipping method?

Unfortunately, you can not change your shipment method after your order has been submitted. The order is immediately sent to the fulfillment agency and can no longer be changed by our system.

Shipping costs

Shipment costs are calculated and displayed before you complete the order. You can find out the cost of the selected shipping method by placing products in the shopping cart and proceeding to the “checkout”.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO addresses?

Due to shipper restrictions, we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

When is your shipping cut off time?

Orders placed for in-stock items before 12pm, Monday through Friday will usually ship within one business day. We do not offer Saturday, Sunday, or holiday shipping or deliveries.  Please note that we may have to verify your billing information. Any incomplete or incorrect information may result in processing delays.

Returns and Cancellations

How do I cancel my order?

If you paid by credit card, and need to cancel your order please contact Customer Service. Please remember to include your order number for faster service. In some cases, we are unable to cancel an order, as orders are processed for shipment immediately upon completion.

If you selected to pay by check and have not sent in your payment. Your order will automatically be cancelled after 30 days.

When will the credit appear on my credit card?

Once the return is received, please allow 7-10 business days for the credit to appear on your account. Credit will be issued to the payment method or credit card used for your original purchase only. The WD Store does not issue credit for costs incurred in shipping a returned item.

What if I receive defective or damaged product?

WD Store will issue a credit for products that arrived defective or have become defective within 30 days of shipment. Visit WD Support to help determine if your product is defective or if a solution exists.
